Alluri District Information: ‘Collector, give us recent water’, tribals begged with raised palms


 ‘‘District Collector. We salute with joined palms. Give us water at the same time as we have fun the seventy fifth Republic Day. Give gentle to the night time’’ The villagers begged. They’ve been residing in darkness for a few years.. They begged to offer at the least recent water. Chinnakonila and Booriga tribal ladies put bandanas on their scalps and put their palms collectively and protested innovatively, begging the District Collector. 

About 70 households are 250 in Buriga and Chinnakonilas, hill high villages of Anantagiri Mandal, Rompilly Panchayat of Alluri Seetharamaraju District. Individuals have entry to electrical energy or solely 12 hours of sunshine. They don’t even have entry to protected consuming water. In addition they must filter and drink the identical water that cattle drink. The villagers lamented that they’re usually affected by sickness. Adivasi tribal ladies Journey Polamma, Somala Polamma, tenth ward member Somula Appalaraju, Chinna Colony village elders Konaparthi Simhachalam and others participated.
